Dear Buford Parents and Families,

 

Welcome to the 2025–2026 school year! I am honored to continue serving as your principal and excited to begin a new year filled with learning, collaboration, and growth.

 

At Buford, we are proud to offer both English Language and Dual Language (Spanish-English 90/10 and 50/50 model) programs, providing all students with a rigorous, inclusive, and enriching academic experience. Whether students are developing biliteracy or deepening their skills in our English program, every child is supported in reaching their full potential.

 

Our dedicated teachers and staff work together to cultivate a safe, welcoming environment where students are challenged academically, empowered to lead, and supported socially and emotionally. We are deeply committed to fostering strong relationships, modeling leadership habits, and ensuring every student feels seen, heard, and valued.

 

As part of our shared expectations, all students learn to Be Safe, Be Respectful, and Be Responsible—core values that shape our daily actions, decisions, and interactions on campus.

This year, our theme is:
“Buford’s Recipe for Success: Reflecting, Collaborating, and Growing Together.”
We believe that success is built through purposeful teamwork, shared goals, and a deep commitment to student learning. Whether it’s through academic rigor, student voice, positive behavior supports, or meaningful learning experiences, we aim to help every Bengal grow with confidence and pride.
